Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) received Ishaq Abdullah Ishaq, Chairman of the Executive Organising Committee for the International School Games (ISF) Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024.
Ishaq briefed the secretary general on the latest developments of the action plan for the largest sporting event in terms of number of participants, which is to be held in October 2024, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Ishaq reviewed important topics, such as the readiness of the Kingdom's institutions for this huge global event, the international communication plan for the tournament and the committee's preparations.
Al Moayyed praised the role of Bahraini youth, who have proven their ability to manage and host large international events.
He stressed that SYCS, under the directives His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, will provide an opportunity for young people to participate in the success of this event.
Ishaq expressed his pride in the patronage of HM the King for this event and the support of SYCS, which aims to implement the vision of HH Shaikh Nasser and First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He thanked SYCS Secretary General for his follow-up with all the latest developments of this global event.
