Damascus: Syrian Minister of Energy Mohammad Al-Bashir met with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman, who is currently visiting Syria, to explore prospects for bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
According to Qatar News Agency, Minister Al-Bashir outlined the significant challenges facing Syria's energy sector amid current circumstances. He emphasized the government's commitment to expanding partnerships with friendly nations, particularly in oil, gas, and electricity, to support infrastructure rehabilitation and improve public services.
The Croatian foreign minister expressed his country's interest in strengthening energy cooperation with Syria. He highlighted the potential for knowledge exchange and leveraging the expertise of Croatian companies in areas such as exploration, production, and network development.
