Damascus, Minister of Water Resources, Eng.Hussein Makhlouf, discussed with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Damascus, Wahid Mubarak Sayyar, several issues of concern to both sides in the water sector and future cooperation prospects. That came During a meeting held in the Ministry building Wednesday, Makhlouf talked about the situation of the infrastructure in the irrigation, drinking water and sanitation sectors, which work is being done to rehabilitate after the damage it affected as a result of terrorism and the earthquake. He noted to the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and benefiting from the expertise of the two countries in a way that benefits both of the two brotherly peoples. Ambassador Sayyar , for in his part, reviewed the Kingdom's experience in the water sector, stressing the importance of developing cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the field of capacity building and technical cadres in the two countries.
