New York, Syria has condemned attempts to target The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in service of the Israeli occupation's agenda aiming at liquidating the right to return and the Palestinian issue, calling on donor countries that suspended their funding to UNRAW to resume donations. 'The Israeli brutal aggression and the genocide war still continue against the Palestinians and the 5-month huge humanitarian suffering in Gaza is now escalated by the occupation's attempts to liquidate the UNRWA,' Qusay al-Dahhak, Syria's permanent Ambassador to the UN in New York said at General Assembly meeting. He added that Syria calls on the donor countries to resume their funding to the international agency immediately in order to provide sufficient resources and basic needs to the Palestinians.
