The Foreign Ministry added that Syria stresses the need to respect Bolivia's legitimate constitutional order, maintain democratic and institutional stability and the rule of law, and prevent foreign interference in the internal affairs of this friendly country. The Ministry affirmed that the Syrian Arab Republic expresses its support and stand with the legitimate Bolivian government headed by President Luis Arce, democratically elected by the friendly Bolivian people, and calls once again on the arrogant countries and powers to respect the freedom of the peoples of Latin America, including the people of Bolivia, by preserving their legitimate elected institutions.
