Syria: Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Al Shaibani, met on Monday with World Bank Division Director for the Middle East Department, Jean-Christophe Carret, to explore opportunities for expanded collaboration between Syria and the bank in areas including reconstruction, sustainable development, and support for critical sectors to accelerate economic recovery and improve basic services.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, Al Shaibani underscored Syria's determination to deepen ties with international institutions in alignment with its national priorities, praising the World Bank's contributions to development initiatives and the rebuilding of the country's infrastructure.
