Damascus: HE President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa met today with HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani, currently visiting Syria. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in cultural fields, and ways to support and develop them, as this year the State of Qatar is the Guest of Honor of the Damascus International Book Fair.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cultural ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various cultural projects and initiatives. Both leaders emphasized the importance of cultural exchange as a means to strengthen bilateral relations and build mutual understanding between Syria and Qatar.
