Syrian, US Presidents Discuss Efforts Aimed at Achieving Stability in Syria

Doha: Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa and his US counterpart Donald Trump discussed efforts aimed at achieving stability in Syria in a phone call on Monday. Syria's SANA news agency reported that the two presidents stressed the importance of preserving Syria's territorial unity and independence.

According to Qatar News Agency, both sides also agreed to continue cooperation in combating the ISIS group and eliminating its threats. They also addressed a number of regional issues.
