Tests for Children in Sheikh Jassim Noble Qur’an Competition Conclude Successfully

Doha: The tests for children in the 30th Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani Noble Qur'an Competition have been concluded. Deputy chairman of the organizing committee, Jassim Abdullah Al Ali, stated that the committee is poised to declare the winners in the days ahead, adding that male winners will be honored during a closing ceremony on Wednesday following the Taraweeh prayer at the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque.

According to Qatar News Agency, female winners will be honored at the Women's Activities premises at the Da'wah and Religious Guidance Department in Al Waab, featuring festive atmospheres in recognition of their efforts in memorizing the holy Qur'an, Al Ali said.

He emphasized that the competition continues its leading role in encouraging the rising generations to compete in this greatest Islamic science so as to ensure their perfect memorization and recitation. Al Ali highlighted that the contest aims to profoundly connect both males and females with the holy Qur'an, in pursuit of discovering beautiful voices in recitation among them in a superb environment.
