Gaza - Ma'an - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs who arrived at its headquarters since the beginning of the war on the Strip exceeded 40,000 on Thursday. The daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 314th day showed that the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 40 martyrs and 107 injuries arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours. The death toll from the Israeli aggression rose to 40,005 martyrs and 92,401 injuries since October 7. The ministry said that the percentage of children among the total martyrs is 33%, the percentage of the elderly is 8.6%, and the percentage of women is 18.4%, and that 51.4% of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip are children and women. The Israeli ground military operation continued in Khan Yunis for the eighth consecutive day, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 citizens. Three citizens were martyred in art illery shelling on the Qaa al-Qurain area east of Khan Yunis. The bombing was preceded by an airstrike on the village of Abasan, which resulted in three martyrs, including two women, and a number of injuries. A martyr arrived from the city of Rafah and was recovered after being targeted several days ago.
