HEBRON - Ma'an - Israeli occupation forces arrested five citizens from Beit Ummar, Taffuh and Al-Khalbal at dawn on Monday, during raids and searches. They also raided Adh Dhahiriya and Sa'ir. Media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the town, including: Al-Bayada, Al-Tarbiqa, and Al-Musrara, and searched a number of citizens' homes, tampered with their contents, and detained families in individual rooms. Awad added, "During this, Yasser Karim Muhammad Akhlil, 21 years old, Muhammad Raed Ahmad Abdul Hamid Akhlil, 20 years old, and Baha Jamil Khalil Adi, 19 years old, were arrested. They were taken to the "Etzion" camp, north of Hebron." Ahmed Abdel Razzaq Khamayseh from the town of Taffuh, west of Hebron, was also arrested after his family's home was raided and searched. From the city of Hebron, citizen Saif Bassam Abu Aisha was arrested after raiding his family's home in the Jabal Abu Rumman area of ??the city. In a related c ontext, the occupation forces raided the city of Dhahiriya, and according to eyewitnesses, the soldiers stormed several shops and a café and abused those inside the café. The soldiers also opened fire at a car without any injuries being reported. The occupation forces also set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks and earthen barriers.
