Ramallah - Ma'an - A young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets today, Sunday, as they stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Ramallah, amid the outbreak of confrontations, while a female university student was arrested. A local source said that the young man, Bashar Wahba, was shot in the head after the occupation forces opened fire on him while he was on the roof of his house in the Ain Misbah neighborhood in Ramallah al-Tahta. Health sources described the young man's injury as "critical." The occupation forces, reinforced with more than 15 military vehicles and tanks, stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Ramallah, at dawn today, and carried out raids and searches on a number of homes amid the outbreak of confrontations with groups of young men. The Israeli incursions were concentrated in the Al-Irsal neighborhood and street, in the Ain Misbah neighborhood, and Ramallah Al-Tahta, where confrontations broke out during which the occupation forces fired live, rubber-coated bu llets, stun grenades, and tear gas. Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces deliberately opened fire on the young man, Wahba, while he was standing on the roof of his house, and he was shot in the head. He was taken to the Ramallah Medical Complex, where his injury was described as critical. Meanwhile, the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner and graduate student at Birzeit University, Layan Kayed, after storming her home on Ain al-Misbah Street. Source: Maan News Agency
