Three African Nations to Repatriate Citizens Deported from Britain

London: The British Home Office has announced a landmark agreement with Namibia, Angola, and the Democratic Republic of Congo to repatriate their citizens who have violated immigration laws in the United Kingdom.

According to Qatar News Agency, British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood emphasized that illegal immigrants will be deported back to these African nations as part of the new agreement. Mahmood asserted her commitment to maintaining order and controlling Britain's borders, highlighting the importance of the cooperation from these countries.

The Home Secretary pointed out that previous attempts to return citizens were often obstructed due to bureaucratic delays in processing the necessary paperwork or because individuals were required to sign their own documents, effectively granting them the power to refuse deportation.

The British government had previously issued a stark warning to these nations, threatening to halt visa issuance if they failed to enhance their cooperation in deportation efforts. More than 3,000 individuals from Namibia, Angola, and the Democratic Republic of Congo could potentially be affected by this agreement, marking a significant step in the UK's immigration enforcement strategy.
