Three Footballers Leaving Al Rayyan’s Ranks

Al Rayyan: Al Rayyan announced Saturday that the contracts of Brazilian striker Romarinho, his compatriot goalkeeper Paulo Victor, and Dutch right-back Joshua Brenet have come to an end.

According to Qatar News Agency, the club stated that the end of the contracts coincides with the conclusion of the 2024 - 2025 season, adding that those players will, thus, no longer be part of the team in the coming period.

Al Rayyan expressed gratitude towards Romarinho, Victor, and Brenet for their contributions this season, noting that their participation was limited to the AFC Champions League Elite tournament.

Romarinho joined Al Rayyan in February after leaving Saudi Arabia's Neom SC on a free transfer. Victor joined in September on a one-year deal from Saudi Arabia's Al Ettifaq FC, whereas Brenet became part of Al Rayyan's ranks in September on a one-year free transfer deal.
