Turbat: The Pakistani army announced on Tuesday that three militants were killed during a security operation in the country's southwest.
According to Qatar News Agency, the military stated that the operation was conducted based on intelligence reports tracking militant movements in Turbat city, located in Balochistan province. Security forces successfully eliminated three armed individuals and seized a large cache of weapons in their possession.
Pakistan has witnessed a significant surge in attacks in recent months, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. The Pakistani security forces have been engaged in ongoing efforts for years to dismantle militant groups hiding in mountainous areas, which periodically launch attacks against security personnel and civilians.
