Today’s Gaza Death Toll Rises to 53 Amid Ongoing Israeli Assault

Gaza: Thursday's death toll among Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip has risen to 53, as Israel's ongoing military assault continues to target multiple areas across the besieged enclave.

According to Qatar News Agency, the bodies of 53 victims have been received by hospitals across Gaza since dawn, as a result of Israeli airstrikes and gunfire. The casualties were distributed among several hospitals, including 29 at Nasser Hospital, 13 at Al-Aqsa, five each at Al-Shifa and Al-Ahli Al-Maamadani, and one at Al-Awda Hospital.

Since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have waged a devastating war on Gaza, killing at least 66,225 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and injuring 168,938 others. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble as rescue teams face ongoing challenges reaching affected areas.
