Trilateral Meeting Between Turkiye, Libya, Italy on Advancing Cooperation

Istanbul: A trilateral summit was held today in Istanbul, bringing together Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Libya's Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.

According to Qatar News Agency, the summit dealt with ways to enhance cooperation between the three countries in the fields of energy, economy, and the oil sector, in addition to addressing strategic issues of mutual concern, including combating illegal migration, regional stability, and developments in Syria and Ukraine.

The summit emphasized the importance of serving the interests of the peoples of the three nations by deepening economic cooperation and coordinating efforts related to energy resources in the Mediterranean.

This summit falls within the framework of ongoing coordination between Turkey, Italy, and Libya aimed at supporting regional stability and developing joint approaches to regional and international challenges.
