Tunis: Tunisian President Kais Saied met Tuesday with Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, currently visiting Tunisia. During the meeting, discussions focused on regional and international issues, with particular emphasis on the Palestinian cause.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also addressed topics related to Arab cooperation across all fields, aiming to strengthen the role of Arab nations globally. In a separate meeting, Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti also met with the Secretary-General of the Arab League to discuss enhanced cooperation, coinciding with Tunisia's hosting of coordination meetings organized by the Arab League with various Arab specialized centers and organizations.
Their discussion included updates on the regional situation, highlighting the Palestinian issue. Nafti reaffirmed Tunisia's stance in supporting the Palestinian people's struggle to reclaim their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent state with full sovereignty over all Palestinian territories, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
