Tunis: Foreign investments in Tunisia increased by more than 26 percent in 2024 compared to the figures recorded in 2023. According to Qatar News Agency, an official in the Ministry of Development, Investment, and International Cooperation said in press remarks that the value of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Tunisia reached 3.2 billion dinars (approximately $1 billion) in 2024, an increase of 26 percent compared to 2023. The official added that the first quarter of this year saw FDI inflows around $250 million, a 25-percent increase year-over-year. The official expressed optimism about the future of foreign direct investment in the country, noting that Tunisia could attract investments worth 6 billion dinars (about $2 billion) or more in the coming years.
