Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, in a phone call on Monday, bilateral relations between the two countries, besides regional and international issues. Erdogan expressed his welcome for the positive trend in the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia and stressed that achieving a "just and lasting peace" in the region would create a "new climate" for Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the region's countries.
