Ankara: Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned Wednesday Iran's Ambassador in Ankara, Mohammad Hassan Habibollahzadeh. The Ambassador was informed of Turkiye's concern and strong protest over ballistic munition fired from Iran and directed toward Turkish airspace, the Ministry reported in a statement.
According to Qatar News Agency, earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced intercepting a ballistic missile that was heading toward the Turkish airspace from Iran, with NATO railing against the Iranian targeting of Turkiye.
