Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that efforts are continuing to locate the wreckage of the Turkish military cargo plane that crashed earlier Tuesday on the border between Azerbaijan and Georgia. Erdogan said during an official event in the capital, Ankara, that efforts are ongoing, in coordination with Georgian authorities, to reach the wreckage.
According to Qatar News Agency, earlier Tuesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that one of its C-130 cargo planes crashed on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border while returning to Turkiye from Azerbaijan.
