Ankara: Turkiye's annual inflation rate fell in December to its lowest level in 49 months.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced that the annual inflation rate reached 30.89 percent last month. This marked its lowest level since November 2021, when the inflation rate was recorded at 21.31 percent.
The institute's statement also highlighted that the consumer price index saw an increase of 0.89 percent on a monthly basis in December. Meanwhile, the producer price index experienced a rise of 0.75 percent during the same period.
