Two Brothers Martyred by Israeli Occupation Forces in West Bank

Nablus: The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Tuesday that two brothers, aged 40 and 35, were martyred by Israeli occupation forces in Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health said in a statement that the General Authority of Civil Affairs had informed it of the two brothers' deaths and that the occupation forces had withheld their bodies.

The occupation forces fired live ammunition at the two brothers in the Old City of Nablus during their ongoing raid on the town and prevented ambulance crews from reaching them. Their deaths were later announced.

A number of citizens were also injured by live bullet shrapnel and suffered suffocation from tear gas canisters fired by the forces.

The occupation forces have continued their raids into the Old City of Nablus since the early hours of this morning, raiding and searching several homes and shops amid a widespread deployment of snipers on rooftops.

A number of young men have also been arrested and detained.
