Two Dead Due to Famine, Malnutrition in Gaza Over Past 24 Hours

Gaza: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip revealed Thursday that two Palestinians have died from famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours.

According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 271, including 112 children, amid the worsening humanitarian crisis facing the people of the Strip due to the ongoing blockade, shortages of food and medical supplies, the spread of famine, and the genocide that the Israeli occupation has been committing since Oct. 7, 2023.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) previously warned that malnutrition among children under five had doubled between March and June as a result of the continued blockade.

The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, stressing that the deliberate siege and delays in aid deliveries have caused the loss of many lives.
