Two Wounded in Renewed Israeli Strikes on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Two people were injured on Friday as Israeli attacks continued across southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone struck a truck unloading waste between the towns of Shoukine and Kfar Dajjal in Nabatieh district, injuring two people.

The agency also reported that an Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade near the town of Mansouri in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army carried out extensive demolition operations in the town of Khiam, where a series of explosions was heard overnight, shaking the surrounding area.

The latest developments come despite the framework agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli entity, brokered by the United States, which includes security arrangements, the redeployment of the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon, and measures to support reconstruction and economic recovery.
