The Japan Meteorological Agency has warned that Typhoon Bebinca is expected to approach Amami Islands in southwestern Japan late Saturday evening, bringing with it strong winds, landslides, floods, and storm surges. The agency said that the 13th typhoon of the season could also cause strong winds and high waves on Okinawa Island, located in southern Japan. The agency further predicted that rainfall within the next 24 hours could reach 150 millimeters in parts of southern Kyushu and Amami, and 100 millimeters in Okinawa. (QNA) Source: Qatar News Agency
