The Japan Meteorological Agency has warned that Typhoon Bebinca is expected to approach Amami Islands in southwestern Japan late Saturday evening, bringing with it strong winds, landslides, floods, and storm surges. The agency said that the 13th typhoon of the season could also cause strong winds and high waves on Okinawa Island, located in southern Japan.
