According to Qatar News Agency, in another match, Egypt and Venezuela played to a 1-1 draw in their second Group E match. Arcos Maitan scored for Venezuela, while Hamza Abdel Karim equalized for Egypt, who played with ten men for nearly 30 minutes after Mohamed Hamad was sent off in the 60th minute. Egypt now lead the group with four points, ahead of Venezuela on goal difference.
North Korea and Germany also played to a 1-1 draw in Group G of the same tournament. Wisdom Mike scored for Germany, and Han Ae-bok equalized for North Korea, bringing his team's tally to four points at the top of the group, while Germany's tally rose to two points in second place, ahead of Colombia (third) on goal difference.
