Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) highlighted the importance of safeguarding civilian and diplomatic structures, including the residences of embassy personnel, following reports of damage to the Qatari Embassy in Kyiv due to shelling in the city.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Emirati Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reaffirming the UAE's dedication to finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine. The ministry emphasized the need for diplomacy, dialogue, and de-escalation, particularly in light of worsening humanitarian conditions and the ongoing challenges faced by civilians.
