Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received a phone call today from Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece. The meeting discussed efforts to enhance cooperation, particularly in the economic, trade, investment, and development sectors, to advance mutual interests and support development priorities as part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM). HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the Prime Minister also reviewed several regional and international topics of common concern, particularly the situation in the Middle East and the developments in Gaza and Lebanon. They emphasised the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a ceasefire, ensuring full protection for civilians following international humanitarian law, and addressing the deteriorating humanitarian situation. They underscored the need to work to prevent the expansion of regional conflict that threatens securit y and stability and establish a clear political horizon for a just and comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution that guarantees security and stability for all.
