Abu Dhabi, The UAE is set to host the upcoming meeting of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media and the Executive Office of Arab Information Ministers Council, scheduled for late 2024. The forthcoming sessions, marking the 102nd meeting of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media and the 20th session of the Executive Office of the Arab Information Ministers Council, will explore optimal ways to enhance Arab media discourse on a range of issues, the Arab Media Map for Sustainable Development 2030, and strategies to boost the capabilities of Arab media professionals, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported. Additionally, the meetings will address the activities of the Arab Electronic Media Committee, discuss the role of media in countering terrorism and promoting peace and tolerance, review the most important recommendations of the team tasked with developing a unified strategy for dealing with global media companies, and study proposals to promote environmental and educational media, in addition to integratin g women in media, encouraging quality, and developing capabilities, including artificial intelligence technologies.
