UK PM and US President Hold Phone Talks on Security and Regional Conflicts

London: The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke over the phone on Saturday with US President Donald Trump to discuss the bilateral relationship between the two countries and a number of regional and international issues of shared concern.

According to Qatar News Agency, Starmer stressed during the call the importance of strengthening security in the Arctic, noting that this issue represents an absolute priority for his government.

The statement added that the Prime Minister emphasized the need to continue diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the Russian-Ukrainian war, while also stressing the importance of international partners continuing to support Kyiv in defending itself against Russian attacks.
