Ukraine Announces Bombing of Aircraft, Missile Factories in Russia

Doha: Ukraine revealed today that its drones bombed a fighter aircraft factory in the Moscow region and a missile production facility in the Tula region, causing explosions and fires. According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian military confirmed in a statement that the aircraft manufacturing facility is located in the town of Lukhovitsy, about 135 kilometers southeast of Moscow, and produces MiG fighter jets. It added that the other site is an instrument design bureau specializing in the production of anti-aircraft missiles and rocket-gun systems. It explained that the defense forces continue to take all necessary steps to undermine Russia's military and economic capabilities and force it to end the war. Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its forces had shot down 155 Ukrainian drones since last night, including 11 aircraft heading to Moscow.
