Ukraine Announces Downing of 175 Russian UAVs, 4 Missiles

Kyiv: The Ukrainian Air Force Command announced Sunday that it had successfully shot down 175 Russian unmanned aircraft and 4 missiles.

According to Qatar News Agency, radio and technology units of the Ukrainian Air Force monitored 246 Russian offensive vehicles, including 5 ballistic missiles, alongside 241 drones of various kinds. The National News Agency of Ukraine reported these figures, highlighting the ongoing aerial engagements between the two nations.

Since the flare-up of war in late February 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been trading reports confirming each party holding off the attacks of the other. Despite these claims, there is a persistent challenge in independently verifying the data due to the ongoing war circumstances.
