Doha: Ukraine announced Tuesday that it has downed 78 Russian drones overnight. The Ukrainian Air Defense Force reported that Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with a ballistic missile that was launched from the Crimean Peninsula and 139 drones launched from the areas of Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chuda in the Crimean Peninsula.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier Tuesday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported in a statement that since the onset of the war in 2022, the Ukrainian troops destroyed 10,425 tanks, 21,670 armored combat vehicles, 25,190 artillery systems, 1,341 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,117 air defense systems, in addition to killing and injuring tens of thousands of troops.

The statement added that the Ukrainian military also devastated 370 aircraft, 335 helicopters, 30,759 drones, 3,121 cruise missiles, 28 warships, one submarine, 41,824 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,785 units of special equipment.
