Doha: The Ukrainian Air Force announced today that its air defenses shot down 93 drones launched by Russia, while 47 aircraft disappeared in different areas. The Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russia launched 141 drones and dummy aircraft from five directions: Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
According to Qatar News Agency, forty-seven launched aircraft disappeared from the radar, did not cause any damage on the ground, and two returned to Russia. Since the beginning of the conflict in February 2022, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily announcements of shooting down some drones. However, it is difficult to verify the accuracy of this information due to the ongoing war conditions, which have made it difficult to access combat areas and verify data.
