Kyiv: The Ukrainian military says it has destroyed over 11,000 units of Russian military automotive and special equipment since the beginning of 2025.
According to Qatar News Agency, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Russian forces have lost 11,583 units of automotive and special equipment so far this year. He added that more than 35,000 such units were destroyed in 2024.
Syrskyi attributed the results to the coordinated efforts of Ukrainian defenders and an increase in drone strikes, which he said have prevented hundreds of thousands of tons of ammunition, equipment, and fuel from reaching Russian front-line units.
As with many reports from both sides, the information could not be independently verified due to the ongoing conflict, which began in February 2022.
