Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk signed, in Warsaw on Monday, a cooperation agreement in the security field between the two countries, a day before the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit in the United States. The agreement stipulates the development of a plan through which Russian missiles and drones launched toward Poland in Ukrainian airspace can be shot down. Poland will continue to maintain on its territory the important center designated for supplying Western weapons to Kyiv and encourage Ukrainians to return to their country to participate in its defense, according to the new agreement. The agreement also stipulates cooperation in the fields of defense industries, cybersecurity, and intelligence, in addition to road and railway infrastructure between the two countries.
