Kyiv: The Ukrainian military announced today that the number of Russian soldiers killed or wounded since the start of the war on Feb. 24, 2022, has risen to approximately 885,130, including 1,180 casualties in the past 24 hours alone.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that, since the beginning of the war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 10,274 Russian tanks, 21,360 armored combat vehicles, 24,206 artillery systems, 1,310 multiple rocket launchers, and 1,101 air defense systems. Additionally, the statement detailed that Ukrainian forces have also downed 370 warplanes, 331 helicopters, 28,362 drones, and 3,120 cruise missiles, along with the destruction of 28 warships, one submarine, 39,933 military vehicles and fuel tankers, and 3,773 special equipment units.
It is important to note that reports from Moscow and Kyiv often present conflicting battlefield data, and due to the ongoing war, it remains impossible to independently verify these figures.
