Doha: Ukraine has announced its readiness to sign a minerals agreement with the US after a Washington decision to freeze military aid to Kyiv. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized the country's willingness and determination to initiate cooperation with the US, highlighting the importance of maintaining strong relations with Washington.
According to Qatar News Agency, Shmyhal expressed Kyiv's commitment to strengthening ties with the US, describing Washington as a crucial partner. He assured that Ukraine would take all necessary steps to counter Russia, despite the recent decision by US President Donald Trump to suspend military aid.
