Ukrainian President Confirms Ongoing Talks with Washington on Ukrainian Crisis

Doha: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that his country is maintaining continuous contact with the United States, expressing his hope that Washington will provide clear details regarding the upcoming additional meetings on ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) quoted Zelenskyy as saying that Kyiv intends to continue holding meetings next week, noting that preparations for them have already begun.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian President stressed his country's readiness to work within various effective negotiation formats, emphasizing that what is most important for Kyiv is achieving tangible results and holding the meetings in a serious and productive manner.

This comes as negotiations on resolving the Ukrainian crisis began Saturday in Miami, with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev, and the US negotiating team headed by US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff. Both sides described the talks as effective and constructive.
