Umm salal: Umm Salal secured a 2-1 victory over Al Duhail on Wednesday at Al Khor Stadium in the 15th round of the Qatar Stars League. Antonio Mance scored in first-half stoppage time before Naim Laidouni added the winner in the 72nd minute. Bassam Al Rawi had earlier equalized for Al Duhail with a direct free-kick early in the second half.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Duhail were reduced to nine players after red cards for Luiz Martin in the sixth minute and Benjamin Bourigeaud in the 37th, both following VAR reviews. The win lifted Umm Salal to 12 points and temporarily moved them to 11th place, while Al Duhail remained sixth on 20 points.

It was Umm Salal's first victory under their new Spanish coach, Ruben Albes.
