New York, The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs 'OCHA' revealed that the Israeli occupation authorities prevented the access of dozens of humanitarian aid missions to the Gaza Strip during the period between 1 to 11 August this year. The agency stated in a report published on its website that 'In total, since 1 August, out of the 85 coordinated humanitarian assistance missions to northern Gaza, only 34 were facilitated by Israeli authorities'. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that obstructing aid missions undermines efforts to meet urgent humanitarian needs. At the beginning of this August, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territories announced that the occupation authorities had refused to extend the visa of the head of the office, Andrea Di Domenico, which expired on Thursday, August 1.
