Manama, The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) held the 20th ceremony to honour top students. The ceremony was held at University of Bahrain, Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohamad Al Khalifa Hall, where 401 students with 95% GPA and above in the academic year 2023/2024 were honoured. In a video recording played at the event, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs congratulated all outstanding students in Bahrain as well as the foundation's students. His Highness valued the support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, for the orphans registered in the RHF and providing comprehensive care for them with a special attention to their education. His Highness noted the encouragement they receive to excel in their academic performance and to contribute to the country's progress and development. His Highness commended the support received by the RHF from the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He said this support has enabled the foundation to conduct their humanitarian programmes in various sectors to the fullest. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-general of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, delivered a speech thanking His Majesty the king for his care for the orphans of the foundation. He also valued the support of the government and His Royal Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, and his encouragement for the students. A short film showcased success stories stories of beneficiaries registered at the foundation who are now occupying leading roles in the community. Then, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education, and the RHF Secretary-general honoured outstanding students and the students who received the Leadership and Distinction Award.
