Last year's edition brought together over 300 exhibitors from more than 60 nations, spanning an area of 15,000 square meters. This year, Al Kharji pointed out, the event returns with greater ambition. He emphasized that Visit Qatar's participation as a strategic partner reflects its commitment to supporting the sector's growth and reinforcing Qatar's standing as a global tourism hub.

Al Kharji noted that this year's mart offers broader horizons for cooperation and sharing expertise, as well as exploring business opportunities among partners in the tourism sector. Visit Qatar's pavilion hosts a spectrum of key partners in culture, entertainment, business, and sports tourism, aligning with a strategy to diversify tourism showcases and strengthen Qatar's readiness to welcome visitors from diverse global markets.

The strength of Qatar's tourism sector is rooted in partnerships with domestic, regional, and global institutions, as well as partners among tour operators, hotels, and economic entities. Al Kharji elaborated that Qatar Tourism is committed to collaboration to promote new experiences, support professional programs, and reinforce Qatar's presence on the global travel map.

He encouraged participants to explore the innovative ideas the mart will showcase, novel success stories, and partnerships that help chart the future of tourism in Qatar and beyond. The first day of the mart saw the participation of thousands of industry specialists and a wide array of exhibitors and international delegations. The second day is expected to feature activities designed to deepen collaboration and spotlight emerging opportunities within the sector.
