US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces conducted multiple, precision airstrikes on numerous Houthi weapons storage facilities in Yemen. These facilities contain various advanced conventional weapons used to target US and international military and civilian vessels navigating international waters throughout the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, CENTCOM said in a press release Wednesday. These actions were taken to degrade the Houthi's capability to continue their attacks on commercial shipping and on international coalition, and to degrade their ability to threaten regional partners. US Air Force and US Navy assets, including US Air Force B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers, were part of the operation, the US Central Command said. Assessments are underway and do not indicate civilian casualties, it added. Source: Qatar News Agency
