According to Qatar News Agency, in the women's competition, Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina, ranked 10th and 2022 Wimbledon champion, qualified for the round of 16 after defeating Britain's Emma Raducanu in two sets to none (6/1) and (6/2). She is set to face Czech Marketa Vondrousova in the next round. Vondrousova eliminated Italian Jasmine Paolini in two sets to none (7/6) and (6/1).
