US President Dismisses Joint Chiefs Chairman, Announces Military Leadership Overhaul

Washington: US President Donald Trump announced today the dismissal of Gen. Charles Q. Brown from his position as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as part of a broader reshuffle of top military leadership.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a post on Truth Social, Trump revealed his intention to nominate retired Lt. Gen. Dan 'Razin' Caine as Brown's successor. He explained that this move aims to enhance the effectiveness of the armed forces and restructure military leadership to align with the strategic priorities of the Trump administration.

The changes announced by President Trump are expected to include adjustments to five high-ranking military positions, along with a comprehensive review of the Department of Defense's budget and administrative structure. This unprecedented step in the US military establishment comes as the Department of Defense prepares to implement new plans for the redistribution of US forces abroad, in line with the "America First" policy. This policy seeks to bolster national security and reduce foreign military interventions.
