Doha: President-elect of the US, Donald Trump discussed, in a phone call, with Chinese President, Xi Jinping a host of issues of common concern. In remarks today, Trump described the call as "a good one for both nations." The call reflects the two countries' desire to enhance cooperation, in a way that serves common interests, Trump noted.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Chinese President said in remarks that it was agreed during the call to establish strategic communication channels and maintain regular communication on major issues related to bilateral and international cooperation.
