Washington: US President Donald Trump said that his administration has held "very serious" discussions with Russia regarding its war in Ukraine, hinting at the possibility of taking "significant action soon" towards ending the brutal conflict with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. "We will be speaking, and I think will perhaps do something that'll be significant," Trump said in remarks.
According to Qatar News Agency, Trump had repeatedly asserted in the past that he would not have allowed the conflict to start if he were in office, despite being president when the fighting began in eastern Ukraine between Kyiv's forces and Moscow-backed separatists.
